Our 11+ programme is guaranteed to provide your child with a breadth of coverage required in preparing for Grammar school examinations. We teach children the skills necessary to tackle Non-Verbal Reasoning and guide them through all aspects of the Verbal Reasoning examination through our comprehensive English work. Maths takes our students from whatever level they are at to great heights. We go beyond that expected for the child's age in a progressive approach, filling in gaps in understanding, correcting misconceptions, introducing new areas of learning and developing mastery. Our students develop a love for Maths and find quick and efficient methods to solve problems.

Maths
Mathematics plays a critical role in developing logical reasoning skills and at Chosen Children, we help our children shine in school and apply numeracy skills effectively outside of it. Coverage includes: Geometry, Statistics, Place Value, Fractions, 2D and 3D shapes and much more.
English
In English, our children learn a comprehensive range of spelling strategies along with the necessary ingredients for developing high level writing skills. It is expected that children read daily, familiarising themselves with a wide range of genres and have access to resources through their school, library or home. Our work on comprehension is interactive to facilitate fact retrieval, language and vocabulary exploration along with inference deducing.
Non-Verbal
Reasoning
Non-verbal Reasoning is about communicating without using words but rather, diagrams. Topics covered range from spotting odd ones out, to working with the nets of cubes and some others. NVR is available through membership on our 11+ programme.

Reasoning
Our Verbal Reasoning programme relies on a combination of First Aid in English (a trusted resource for the teaching and learning necessary to succeed) and in-house workbooks produced by our lead tutor (used for on-going assessment and assignments).
